Who We Are
We are on a mission to digitally transform fund management and reporting for fundraising organizations helping them more effectively measure, maximize, and communicate their impact.

Position Summary
We are seeking a creative and data-driven Demand Generation Specialist who can serve at the intersection of content creation and growth.
In this role, you will serve as the voice of FundMiner, building our brand through writing and owning the full demand-gen engine with an emphasis on engaging leads and supporting sales conversion. You will manage inbound lead qualifications, outreach to high-intent prospects, and build nurture campaigns for event and webinar attendees. You’ll ensure that no marketing-generated lead “dies on the vine” by providing timely follow-up, personalized messaging, and smooth hand-offs to the sales team.
You're a fit if you want real ownership over a pipeline number, are comfortable moving between strategic campaign work and hands-on outreach in the same week, and want to help shape a growing B2B SaaS company's go-to-market motion rather than execute someone else's playbook.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Demand Generation & Campaign Execution: Own and run multi-channel campaigns (email, search, organic, and event-driven) that generate and activate MQLs across our target verticals (higher ed, healthcare, community foundations, nonprofits). Build and iterate on segmented email sequences. Support the buildout of paid search with proper campaign structure and help improve HubSpot campaign tracking and attribution so we can see what's actually driving pipeline. Maintain messaging templates in line with FundMiner's tone and brand.
- Lead Engagement & Qualification: Manage inbound and marketing-generated leads, qualifying for fit, intent, and readiness to engage. Reach out to webinar, conference, and campaign attendees via email, LinkedIn, and phone to nurture relationships and book discovery calls. Work with Rev Ops to build systems to route qualified leads to the right AE promptly, with full context.
- Event-Sourced Lead Follow-Up: Take attendee and lead lists from our Event Marketing Manager and convert them into pipeline, segmenting by persona and vertical, then running the follow-up outreach and nurture that turns event interest into booked discovery calls.
- Product Marketing & Sales Enablement Support Translate product features and updates into customer-facing messaging. Create one-pagers, feature announcements, and launch content aligned to vertical needs. Partner with Sales and Customer Success to keep sales enablement materials (such as case studies, pitch decks, battlecards) current with the latest positioning and campaign goals.
- Prospecting & CRM Data Quality: Identify new leads and organizations that fit FundMiner's target industries and personas. Use LinkedIn, HubSpot, and marketing analytics to surface warm prospects and outreach triggers. Keep CRM data clean and enriched so segmentation and routing stay reliable.
- Reporting & Marketing Operations: Track outreach and engagement activity in HubSpot with accuracy. Report on MQL-to-SQL conversion, follow-up speed, and campaign engagement, organized cleanly by campaign. Run a regular feedback loop with Sales on lead quality and messaging performance.
Skills & Experience
This is an ideal but non-exhaustive list of qualifications we are looking for in a successful candidate. If you meet some but not all of these, we encourage you to apply anyway! We look at each applicant’s candidacy in its totality to assess suitability for this role, including enthusiasm and inclination to learn and grow.
- 3-5+ years in demand generation, growth marketing, or a hybrid marketing/SDR role at a B2B SaaS company
- Comfortable owning both strategy and hands-on execution
- Working fluency in HubSpot (campaigns, workflows, reporting) and LinkedIn-based outreach
- Strong writer: able to move between cold outreach, nurture email, and product/marketing content without a big style gap
- Exceptional communication skills with a knack for clear, engaging messaging.
- Organized self-starter; comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities at a small company
- Organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in managing prospective clients and sales activities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an exemplary professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track and manage client interactions and sales processes.
- Engagement with or understanding of fund management and stewardship principles across Higher Education, Healthcare, and/or Foundations.
- Understanding of the SaaS sales funnel and the hand-off between Marketing and Sales teams.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
